Filitheyo Island Resort       Filitheyo is a resort developed in an unsopilt atoll, 120,7 km from Male. Approximately 900 mtrs in length and 300 mtrs in width, Filitheyo promises excellent facilities and accomodation, friendly service, good cuisine, great diving and a beautiful house reef.     Location:   Opened 1999 in the untouched Faafu Atoll, Filitheyo is the only resort island in this area. From Male International Airport it takes 35 minutes by air, followed by a 15 minute traditional dhoni ride. (Seaplane transfers are the only means of transportation for guests and no night transfers are available.)     Accommodation:   All of the thatched villas have large balconies and are situated descretely under shady palm trees and enjoy spectacular sea-views and direct access to the beach. A CD player is provided.               Windsurf School               Catamaran sailing and instruction courses; Windsurfing lessons and board hire; small canoes.               Dive School               The Werner Lau Dive School offers an “Introduction to Diving” twice a week for the complete beginner.  Barakuda, CMAS and PADI diving courses are on offer continually.  Advanced courses up to CMAS Gold and PADI Dive master are also available.                2-3 diving dhonies (boats) depart daily at 9am and 2.30pm.  Offering over 30 different diving sites, this pristine area and the reefs within it are exclusive to divers from Filitheyo.   The Dive School also offers a special Enriched Air or NITROX diving course, and the rental of all snorkeling equipment.               House-reef diving is available after completing a Check-Dive.  On the north side of Filitheyo the house reef falls to more than 90 meters and 8 entry points, all served with tank shuttle service, make for easy diving.                Laundry Service               A 24-hour return service is offered.           Kontakta oss Tillbaka till startsidan Tillbaka till Maldivernas turistöar
